Liftify is excited to welcome Mitch Tor as its newest employee, serving as a Tech Specialist for the growing company.
We have been wanting to fill this role for a long time, but we knew it needed to be the right person. As soon as we met Mitch, it was a no brainer. He brings an entrepreneurial spirit along with a strong technical background. We are so excited to have him on the team!

Mitch was born and raised in Framingham Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston, with his parents and two older siblings, living there until he left home to attend Butler University in Indianapolis.
While at Butler, he studied Entrepreneurship and Innovation with a double major in Applied Business Technology. In these majors, Mitch loved learning more about Human Centered Design and creative data/business analytics tools that could be employed to make people’s lives easier. He likes to do this through the correct implementation of human centered design principles using technology.
Mitch comes from a very close knit family, and extended family as well. Though far from home, he is very thankful for the close friends and relationships he has formed here, along with his roommate, that has made being far away from home much less of a challenge!
Mitch is an NBA and NFL fanatic. He also loves going to the movies, watching comedy TV shows, and playing cards – his two favorite games being cribbage and pitch.
Mitch’s professional experience started with a digital marketing internship with a startup called Lumavate, followed by a move to an IT support internship with a company called Zipari. After graduation he was connected to a local small business called Visualize Your Technology through Butler and became the IT manager. He later became the director of IT, a role that was mainly focused on physical technology installation projects.
Following his time with VYT, Mitch was looking for a place where he could use all of his startup experience for a company earlier in the stages of development. After meeting Jeremy and the team, it was obvious that Liftify could be a place where his impact would be felt. Mitch was confident he could hit the ground running by helping the team with their current problems and then pass that along to the value that is felt by customers.
I think my unique ability is as a connector. Growing up as the youngest you have to do a lot of mind reading and emotional translation. This put me in a position from an early age to aim to seek motivations and what is getting in the way of people’s direct wants. As I have grown up, this skill has continued to grow in other areas of my life where I can use my driving curiosity to connect people and ideas that may not have connected otherwise.
