Meet Kristen Bowen: Mid-Market Customer Success Manager

Personal Background

Kristen grew up in Jasper, Indiana where her extended family still all lives today. She loves being able to see everyone all at once when she visits home! Her most important "job" is her role as wife to Ryan and mom to their 1 year old, Carter. They recently made their way to Zionsville, IN where they have loved exploring and watching their son grow and develop. Kristen considers her greatest blessing to be her family!

Outside of work, nearly all of Kristen's time is devoted to her family. In the current season, the Bowens love to spend time with both sides of their extended family, going on family walks, and hiking in the woods by their neighborhood. Before Kristen was a mom, you could almost always find her and her husband doing something active together, so they are currently figuring out what that looks like with a baby! She also has been an active volunteer with Best Buddies over the years and loves spending time with her buddy, Heather!

Professional Background (Before Liftify)

Kristen attended Miami University (Oxford, OH) and studied Mass Communication with an emphasis in media criticism and a minor in Interactive Media Studies. In college, everything Kristen did was fueled by the intention to work in the music industry. She did a few summer internships at record labels in Nashville and then moved there after school to work for an independent country label where she had the opportunity to hone her skills in event planning and radio promotions. She then worked at CAA routing Christian and country concert tours, which further reinforced the detail-oriented, process planner that she was (while simultaneously getting to experience some of the coolest music moments of her life!). 

After 5 years in the music industry, she was seeking more life balance and made the decision to move closer to family. She moved to Indianapolis in 2017 and directed communications and events (Home-A-Rama & Indy Rama) for the Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis. After 4.5 years, she transitioned to Lessonly (now Seismic) as an Account Manager, where she got the ultimate training on how to serve customers well and invest deeply in company culture in the process.

At Liftify 

Kristen initially met Zach through mutual connections to learn more about Liftify. She quickly learned that Liftify's company values weren't just talk. She was excited to serve customers that were experiencing true value and results in the services we offer and she also was excited to work alongside such an awesome team of people!

As the Mid-Market Customer Success Manager, her main role is to help Liftify's customers with multiple locations enhance their online reputation. Her goals are to be a strategic partner, serve them well, and ultimately help them get the results they are looking for! 

With her unique abilities in connectedness and empathy, she cares deeply about people and loves to learn what's important to them. Kristen has a knack for zooming out to see how things connect to the bigger picture. In her current role, she is able to use these gifts through getting to know what matters to her customer and helping them strategize for success to impact their big picture outcomes. She has also contributed greatly through her passion in both personal and professional development. She loves giving back in various mentoring and coaching opportunities.
